Alex – Chapter 10
Just distraction
She slowly walks to the note and took the note seriously and read it, because she was sure she did not saw that note before. it said….
“Don’t let me hurt you, You are good girl right? stay away from us will you?”
She squashed and threw it in dustbin and started to search if anyone is there in the kitchen, she yells “Anyone is here? come out before I call the cops” and she moved to her willing room and took a baseball bat from beside the door and searched her entire house.
She checked the locks on door and window, just to ensure no thief have break in her house. After she was sure that all doors were locked. She turns on all the lights and went back to her dining table and starts to have her dinner, her eyes kept searching for unknown. She washed her hands quickly took a board and some coins in a bottle out from her bag and she started to walk upstairs. She turns on her bedroom light and enters her bedroom.
She kept the board and coins aside, she opens the guide and started to search something that supports on what she listened that day, later, she turns off the lights, jumped inside her bed as if like she is expecting something she closed her eyes.
She was in her house sleeping on bed , after a while, she turns on the left side to sleep, there was a hand, she felt comfy and kept her head on that and slept. She suddenly opened her eyes, and realized it is not hers, she took a deep breath very slowly she got up and quickly turns on the light, but light did not turn on.
She tried to see if there anything on bed, but nothing unusual. She relaxed herself to calm down, took some deep breath, and went to the restroom, when she looked in the mirror, suddenly the lights turn on and she startled to find her face full of cuts, blood starts to come out from her fore head and chins and lips, she looked at her hand, she was holding a knife. She got shocked and dropped knife in the wash basin, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath and tried to find out who is doing such things, when she opened her eyes, she saw,
Alex stood next to him, she asked “Alex? what are you doing?”
Alex replied “I heard you scream Gabi”
Gabi looked at the mirror, Everything seems fine but Alex was not there in the mirror, she slowly turns her head to Alex “How did you come here Alex?”
Alex replied “I came with you Gabi”
She said “You think I don’t know who you are? I know you are not Alex, get out of my house NOW” this time she said very seriously.
Alex looked at her eyes and smiled “I know I can’t cheat you Gabi, I want to show you something” He waves his hand to her bed. She looked at her bed.
In a moment she was tied in her bed, her both hands and legs were tied to all corners of the bed. Alex started to walk beside her and asked “Why Gabi? tell me why should I not hurt you, why are you trying to help me?”
Gabi tries to come out from the ropes, but she couldn’t “I am trying to help Alex, not you, and I will help” and yelled “I know who you are okay, I can send you back to where you came from”
Alex warns “Don’t shake your arms Gabriela, look at it, the blood is coming.”
Gabi looks at her hand and there were cuts starts to show on her skin, all were 2 inch deep cuts, the blood starts to come out faster as she moved. Gabi starts to feel the pain, her eyes became red, she closed her eyes and chants something.
Alex smiled and turns into a bunch of moths and starts to fly into her body through the cuts and mouth, she tries to shake, but all moths kept entering into her mouth, her face turns white, and her eyes turns black, and everything turns dark.
Gabi is awake now in her own world, the world full of spirits.
the spirit stood in the opposite “You are skilled, you know what, catch me again and again, talking to me, you are doing great!”
Gabi asked “Why are you here?”
the spirit said “before I continue I must ….”
Gabi stopped “Stop! I know what you are going to say. What are you trying?”
the spirit this time asked seriously in a deep voice “I tried to distract you, Just distraction. what are YOU trying? why you want to help them?”
Gabi replied “It’s none of your business”
the spirit asked “looks like someone has some soft corner onto someone”
Gabi folds her hand and looked at it “Yes, Alex. I want him, and I will help him, I will not let anything happen to him”
the spirit laughed “Okay, I will try to spare his life, deal?”
Gabi replied “I am not here to negotiate, I know how to stop all this. Will meet you again soon”
the spirit shrugs it’s shoulders and disappeared leaving a whispering message behind “Best of luck Gabi” and everything turns black.
Next morning Gabi’s phone was ringing in her bed. As we turn to see Gabi on bed, She was in her bathroom. She hears her phone ringing and it stopped.
She came out sit on her bed and closed her eyes for a moment and opened her eyes.
She took the phone, there were 5 missed calls 3 from one number and 2 from another number. She dials one number “Hello! Who is this?”
the voice came from the other end, “Hey! it’s me Bob. we are meeting today right?”
She replied in a tired tone “I am not coming school okay? if you want we can meet here, and BTW get me some sandwich okay, I am very hungry!, I’ll text you the location. We have some works to do”
Bob replied “I am coming there Gabi, text me your address, I am on my way”
Call goes to Alex “Alex! hey! Would you like to join us, I am going to Gabi’s house”
Alex replied “Why? we suppose to go to class, we can’t miss our class Bob. Don’t believe her Bob, she is no witch”
Bob replied “You have no idea what I have been through last night, I am waiting outside, just come with me Alex” and he drops the phone.
Alex looked outside, Bob was standing, Alex walked out of his house…
